How I came up with the work desk budget
The idea for The Work Desk Budget started at the simplest of places: my work desk at home. Being a freelancing breadwinner, most of my days are spent right there with the laptop open and coffee by my side, doing my best to make ends meet, provide, and find balance amidst it all.
With time, I learnt something quite valuable:
Being a breadwinner doesn’t stop at the end of every workday. It extends to budgeting, planning, and making sure each peso is put to good use.
That is when the name clicked.“Work Desk” is indicative of the reality of working at home-the space at which ideas, income, and effort begin.
“Budget” indicates the everyday decisions breadwinners make to support themselves and the people they love.
